💧 Why fix colors?
Colorful clothing, no matter how attractive, can sometimes betray its vibrancy... by bleeding. To prevent stains on the delicate surface of TPE, it's essential to stabilize dyes before use.
🌿 Natural method "Colorfast"
A gentle, simple and effective ritual to fix pigments in the fabric.
🪄 Preparation:
In a large container, mix:
- 1 gallon of cold water (≈ 3.8 L)
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup salt
This fixing bath acts as a shield against pigment migration.
🛁 Soaking:
Immerse the garment in the solution, completely submerged. Leave to stand for 24 hours .
🚿 Rinsing:
Rinse with cold water until the water runs clear.
If the fabric still releases color, repeat the bath until it no longer bleeds.
🌬️ Drying:
Let it air dry. Once dry, your garment is ready to wear with confidence.
👀 The transfer test: never to be neglected
Before completely dressing your doll:
- Apply a piece of fabric to an inconspicuous area (like the lower back).
- Leave to stand for 24 to 48 hours .
- Check if a stain has appeared.
